Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum

We have designed a curriculum for the children at Christ Church Upper Armley that will help them develop a love of learning and activate their enquiring minds.  We fully support the children being involved in the design of their learning journey and favour an enquiry based, creative curriculum underpinned with basic skills.  Each half term the curriculum will be delivered through a themed focus and includes Science, Humanities, IT, PE, Art and Music.   We expect there to be lively and engaging learning experiences for all the children with visitors and first hand experiences to help bring the curriculum to life.

Our pupils love sharing their knowledge and information learnt in class. You can view our "Did You Know?" videos, prepared by students, below:

We also pride ourselves in making sure our curriculum is fun and engaging. We not only do this in the classroom, but outside of the classroom as well, by enhancing our curriculum with various trips, getting pupils out of local area and hands on with their learning.

You can find out further information about our curriculum, in the documents below. If you have any questions about our curriculum, please contact Nicky Myers on 0113 263 8606 or by email at office@ccuaprimary.co.uk
